As our name suggests, West Michigan Alpacas is located in beautiful West Michigan, just two miles from the sandy shores of Lake Michigan.

Growing up on a farm with a variety of animals, I have always enjoyed animals of all kinds.  In fact, my childhood dream was to become a veterinarian.  That is one of the reasons why raising and breeding alpacas is so enjoyable to me.  The process of learning about and working with these unique animals, making breeding choices, waiting for and watching the crias being born, and even the daily chores, offers such a high level of satisfaction, it's hard to explain.  They are fascinating, peaceful creatures and it is such a blessing to be able to look out of our windows and watch them graze in the pasture.  And to top it all off, this country lifestyle is a perfect fit for us and our four children.

Specializing in full Peruvian, Suri alpacas, I believe in having a top quality foundation herd, making careful and deliberate breeding decisions with a dedication to consistently improving the offspring, and offering a commitment to excellence in every detail, including "above and beyond" customer care.
